Promoting the city of Wrocław in the European Best Destination 2018 contest

Reaching lovers of the city of Wrocław from Poland and from the whole world, we gained 67% of all votes that allowed us to win in the European Best Destination 2018 contest.

Our goal

To achieve the title of the most interesting destination for the city of Wrocław in the European Best Destinations 2018 contest. The rivals of Wrocław were 20 european cities such as Prague, Paris, Barcelona, and Amsterdam.

Execution

We started a display campaign for the Internauts who were currently in public places in the city of Wrocław: on the market square, train station, airport, in the shopping malls. This is how we encouraged visitors of the city to give their votes in the contest.

Collecting data about the campaign audience

Pixels were implemented into all earlier mentioned websites. Those pixels allowed us to collect anonymous data about the audience that saw the content, and store it on the DMP (Data Management Platform).

Next, we prepared behavioural reports about the audience of blogs that allowed us to gain information about their interests, demography and intentions that we used to create the custom and look-alike segments.
